What I've Been Writing
Lately I've been working on my story called War (I'm going to write it into two books, though, so I'll change the first book's title.) Why I haven't been posting much lately is because I'm in a writing club called NaNoWriMo, where I'm writing War, and I have to finish it in one week. Less than one week now, actually. So... I probably won't be posting new things on for a real long while.

Timothy Carrot
Timothy Carrot is a long-haired nine year old boy, who is the shortest kid in fourth grade, or maybe even shorter than both third and fourth graders, and it doesn't help that his last name is Carrot. You could probably guess that he is bullied. Everyday at school, he literally has a bully schedule. First, he gets bullied on the bus, then lunch and recess, maybe during class, and then definitely after school. So, you can tell that he lives a pretty miserable life. He believes that he has absolutely no hope of good in the future, until a new girl named Amelia moves to his school. That first day she comes at lunch, she immediately sits by Timothy and makes friends with him. As the days go by, the people at school notice that he actually has a friend, and a friend that stands courageously up for him. Everyone acts scared of Amelia, and if he stays close to her, no one will bully him. It's as if an angel has come down from Heaven, and is protecting him no matter what happens. But many months after she comes, she has to move away, out of the school boundaries, because of her dad's job. Timothy's heart is broken, now no one is here to protect him, his hopes for having a better life are crushed. She moves away and the bullying starts again. Will the bullying keep up or will Timothy stand up for himself?

The Other Side of the Left Wall.
Halady and Ailee are sisters. Ailee is eleven, and Halady is ten. Ailee and Halady have moved into a new house far away from their old home because their mom and dad wanted them to take art school and are trying to get used to the new life styles there. The first evening in their room they're drawing pictures to make good first impressions to the students at their new school, but whenever they talk, many echoes trail after their words. This is a very strange thing, seeing that their room is pretty small. And most of the echoes don't sound much like their own voices, and they only come from the left wall. They now know that they are not echoes, because after they say something a shadowy bubble pops into the left wall, and then the echo comes afterwards. After some time of being freaked out they start passing notes, but after they pass a note, the same note comes through the wall as if the wall is not there. Halady punches the wall to see if it's just an animation, but to her it is solid. Ailee and Halady decide they're going to forget about it and go to sleep thinking this is just a freaky dream.
But when they wake up, they are in a completely different world, a world where little things are giant, where they are sleeping on a leaf. Strange beetles the size of them are flying towards them, so now Halady and Ailee are jumping from leaf to leaf trying to get away from the giant black beetles. They get strangely tired again and fall asleep thinking they're safe on the leaf far away from the beetles, but when they wake up again they're in another different setting: now they're in a stick cage boiling over a pot of what looks like lava but is actually just tomato juice. Beetles are surrounding the cage at every side and apparently they can talk. They say that they are good and just want to bring us to the fairies. Ever since they got here, they have been strangely tired. So they fall into a deep sleep and then wake up in another destination: now they're in a hollow walnut, sleeping on beds made out of soft sticks with covers made out of a leaf, and some human with wings and black curly hair was gathering bagels and setting them on a tray. She tells them her name is Fiona and she is here to help them get well. Halady and Ailee ask what's for breakfast. Fiona responds, "Toad bagels," and hands them each a plain looking bagel. They ask what a toad bagel is and she says that they are bagels with toad guts in them. They are disgusted, but Fiona insists that they are actually delicious. Halady and Ailee take a nervous bite and sees that inside of the bagel is greenish goop and slush, with a little crunch here and there. They both eat the outside bread then find a hole in the bottom of the walnut and slip the inside into the hole. Fiona gives them more and now they know that they will have to eat them. They try the inside and find that it is great. They ate and ate them like crazy until they could nearly burst. Halady and Ailee then ask if they can get out of bed to explore. But Fiona strictly tells them they have to stay in bed for three years, this gets Halady and Ailee a little worried and now they are trying to plan an escape.
A little after breakfast a fairy looking nicer and younger than the other fairies comes in and greets them into the Echo Fairy Land. She tells them her name is Nicole then asks what their names are, they can't remember their names so they make them up: Halady is Tori and Ailee is Saitie.
They eat more and more bagels everyday, and they also seem to forget more and more everyday. Pretty soon, they forget their old life and come into the spells and trances of the Echo Fairy Land- the land where fairies trick their prisoners into becoming one of them. Some time after meeting Nicole they are aloud to get out of their beds, but can hardly walk since they'd been in their beds so long (they haven't actually been in their beds for three years, Fiona said she was exaggerating.) Nicole helps them walk to a job choice-in the Echo Fairy Land you pick a job to do and that is what you will be good and talented at. The job choice is making envelopes. Tori and Saitie-now Tori and Saitie- go threw what seems like a million job choices before they pick the one they want, they pick Fruit Finding. Their job is to go around a small woodland gathering the good fruits for the market. It gives them time to talk about their escape plan and to talk about the people there. Now, they only trust Nicole, because the other fairies they have met are becoming strange and are trying to be nice in a strict way that Tori and Saitie don't like. They share their escape plan with Nicole but Nicole does not want them to escape, she tells them that very bad things will happen to them if they escape, punishment they've never experienced in their lives before, and won't want to experience it. Nicole tells them she knows this because once she tried to escape.
A little bit after that talk they learn that Nicole is a prisoner that had been captured from the good fairy land, and they also meet another fairy, a boy fairy named Kent. He hates prisoners to be tricked, so he's trying to show them that they're the bad fairies. He shows this by attacking and grabbing at Satie, but he gets injured during the fight and goes to the fairy hospital to recover. When he gets out of the hospital he starts to be nice to them. Tori and Satie decide to stay a little longer there but all the fairies except for Kent and Nicole are being stern and a little mean to them. They eventually refuse to eat any more toad bagels and the spell on them starts to wear off. They remember their old life and everything, even their names. They convince Nicole to stop eating them and now she remembers everything in her old life. Halady, Ailee, and Nicole feel destined to go back to their old homes. They make an escape plan and leave during Halady and Ailee's Fruit Finding night shift. They run away from the Echo Fairy Land, remembering to say a sad goodbye to Kent. But it's not over yet, the fairies are now chasing them. They get Nicole back to the Good Fairy Land, but the Echo Fairies are still on Halady and Ailee's tail. They see the left wall into their room. Will the Echo Fairies get them before they get the wall solid on the other side?
P.S. I played this with Charly last night. What was your name again, Charly? I just made your names because I forgot them, sorry.

Climbing Competition
Irelynn is a ten year old girl who loves climbing trees, and has a fear of pencils. She has a best friend named Shannon, she loves to draw, but has a fear of heights. They're not a great match, but have known each other since they were toddlers.
At their school, there is a competition. A climbing competition, to see who's the best at climbing one of the most advanced trees to climb in the country, in their home state, Nebraska. Of course, Irelynn tries out for this competition. But when she makes it to the finals, she falls from thirty feet in the air and breaks both of her legs, badly. But in the middle of the night, in her wheelchair, she wheels herself to the tree and climbs with only her arms, only making it fifteen feet before slipping and falling, only to meet what is closest to death.
Irelynn has hurt her legs so badly that they have to be amputated, and it seems as if she will die soon.
Shannon visits Irelynn in the hospital often, and Irelynn tells Shannon to finish the competition for her, it's what she had dreamed to accomplish and it couldn't go this easily.
Shannon has to overcome her fear of heights so she can finish the competition for Irelynn. Will she finish the competition without a scratch, or will she end up just like Irelynn?

He Was a Normal Boy, Until He Found Naban
Caden is a normal boy with a normal life- normal brown hair, normal copper eyes, normal little sister. Until he finds a secret world under a pile of leaves, he finally has a secret to keep.
His dad is shoveling piles of leaves in the front yard and goes inside to take a break. Caden had been outside with him and had wanted to jump in one of the leaf piles his dad had made, but Caden had known that his dad wouldn't let him ruin all his hard work. So when Caden's dad went inside, Caden picked the biggest pile of leaves and jumped in. While Caden was still buried in all of the leaves, his dad came outside to shovel the leaves again. Caden had no choice but to stay under the leaf pile, while his dad shoveled barrels and barrels of more leaves on top of him. Caden was worried that he was losing all of his air, so he had forced himself to start digging out. But, halfway through the digging, the ground disappeared from below. The hole closed up and the leaf pile remained above ground, while Caden went tumbling down into the hole.
Caden gets used to all of the people in the secret world called Naban, learns he cannot tell anyone about Naban, or else someone could easily try to destroy Naban, and Naban is a secret world that is not supposed to exist, so the people who invented all of the secret world will find out and, everyone in Naban is toast.
Everyone who lives there either has copper or silver eyes. Copper meaning likable and sweet, and silver meaning strong and, let us say, not always likable. Caden meets two friends he grows to know very well, Petunia and Albert, who both have copper eyes.
He meets another girl there who seems a little suspicious, Aiban, who has silver eyes. She sneaks out of conversations sometimes when people aren't paying attention to her, and after she sneaks away, you will not see her for hours and hours. Nobody knows what she does during those times. But the next day, something will be missing, like a jewel or something else that is valuable. And the first suspect is always Aiban. But she never gets arrested.
Caden, Petunia, and Albert want to find out her secrets. So, one night, they sneak out of their houses and meet at Aiban's house. They walk around for awhile, looking for clues outside. In the window well they see a light on in the basement. Caden, Petunia, and Albert peek into the window well and Aiban is sitting in a chair with a mask on making some sort of invention. Soon after that, they find out that that contraption was going to be used to destroy the world of Naban. Aiban was sent here for that reason. Aiban had planned that she would destroy Naban by moving the Rint (the moon in Naban, which is actually more like a meteor) towards Naban. The Rint would hit Naban and the world would be distinct.
Caden, Petunia, Albert, and Mabel (another girl Caden met) have to go on a journey into Naban space to save the Rint from hurdling towards Naban.

Unknown
Heidi Lanktin is a poor girl who lives way back when there were explorers-such as Christopher Columbus, Marco Polo, or Leif Ericson. Her dad has just been fired from his job and her mom cannot work, for she is a woman and she has four kids to take care of. Sense they were already poor it did not help that her dad had been fired. They are so poor, that Heidi's dad has spent lots of their money on an expedition to an unknown island earlier explorers had planned to travel but did not travel to. So Heidi and her mom and dad-leaving Heidi's four siblings at home being baby sat by a trusted friend-go on a journey to explore and investigate the unknown island. When-I mean if they come back they will be given lots of gold and silver and will become a wealthy family for the first time. Will Heidi and her family make it back safely, or will they never come back home?
